Co-host John Hatzis sits down with Nick Freitas, Virginia delegate and social media personality, to discuss Virginia State politics, the Epstein files, political violence, current homeschooling trends, and more. Together, they explore everything from hot-button topics to the Superbowl. They tackle questions such as how Nick dealt with the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and what makes something illegal.
Nick Freitas also told his story, sharing how he got involved in social media, launching the platform he has today.
“It it really it really hit home for me one year where I did a 7-minute speech on the Second Amendment right after the Parkland shooting and the left lost their mind. Like I had three or four Democrat colleagues literally leave the floor in tears and then they requested a recess for 15 minutes to gather their composure only to spend the next three days doing floor speeches about what a horrible human being I was. And it was so pronounced and the Richmond Times Dispatch came after me and the Washington Post came after me and my own side was like, ‘Nick, you just need need to be quiet for a couple days.’ I’m like, I didn’t say anything. They call us Nazis and segregationists and bigots and racists. I didn’t call them anything. I didn’t call them anything. Like, I’m not apologizing for this. So, I took the speech and I put it out on social media. Yeah. And it ended up, not on my page, but across social media. Ended up getting about 90 to 100 million views. So, a lot of people got introduced to me that way. And what it taught me was, oh, I don’t got to wait around for the press to lie about what I say.”
