Breaking the Narrative: Can We Eliminate Public Support for Abortion?
Breaking the Narrative: There is more hope for the pro-life movement than we realize.
By Liliana Zylstra
Is it really possible to change pro-choice minds? While some see abortion as a losing issue for pro-lifers, a public persuasion campaign in Michigan proves that this isn’t the full story.
On episode two of Breaking the Narrative, student fellow Liliana Zylstra spoke with Trevor Polo, Director of Strategy for Protect Life Michigan about the pro-life strategy to eliminate public support for abortion through persuasive imagery and compassionate conversations. They discussed a new project launched by Protect Life Michigan that has already changed thousands of minds on abortion.
Polo and Zylstra also examined the power of victim imagery in persuasion, how pro-life outreach can help post-abortive women and men heal, and a new way to approach conversations about controversial issues. (LISTEN MORE: Breaking the Narrative: Do Pro-Life Laws Put Women’s Lives at Risk?)
